As the sport gains popularity, more facilities are popping up across the city, offering plenty of options for a game with friends. Whether you’re looking for a casual game or a more competitive match, Atlanta has a variety of public courts and dedicated pickleball centers to explore. Recreational Pickleball Centers

Atlanta has several recreational pickleball centers that are perfect for a full day of play and fun. These dedicated facilities often come equipped with amenities like restrooms, water fountains and more, ensuring a comfortable experience for all players. Additionally, each center features properly marked pickleball courts and regulation nets, and many offer equipment rentals!

ITA Atlanta

3110 Presidential Dr

ITA Atlanta features 31 newly-built tennis, pickleball and padel courts, including 19 dedicated solely to pickleball. The facility offers free-play court time, lessons, clinics, an equipment store, and bathroom facilities. Free-play costs $8 per person per hour. For avid players, a membership option provides unlimited free court reservations and priority booking. Additionally, there are exciting plans for an on-site restaurant in the near future!

Painted Pickle

279 Ottley Dr NE

Painted Pickle is one of Atlanta’s newest and trendiest hangout spots, offering a unique mix of competition, dining, and socializing. The venue features 8 high-end courts with paddle and ball rentals available. Painted Pickle is open daily, with court reservations ranging from $30 to $50. For a special experience, check out their Cosmic Pickle nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 PM to 12 AM, where you can play under blacklight for $60 per court.

Atlanta Pickleball Center

1359 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd NW, Suite B

Atlanta Pickleball Center is a top choice for pickleball enthusiasts in the city, featuring 10 indoor hard courts with permanent lines and nets. Reservations are required, and a fee applies for court use. The center offers a range of amenities, including trainers, lessons, water, and restrooms. It operates daily with varying hours.

Westside Paper

950 West Marietta Street NW

Westside Paper features three outdoor concrete courts with permanent lines and portable nets. Amenities include food, restrooms, and wheelchair accessibility. The courts are open to the public and free of charge, though players must sign a waiver at Elsewhere before playing. Reservations are not available, and the courts are accessible daily from 8am to 8:30pm.

Sandy Springs Tennis Center

500 Abernathy Road Northeast, Sandy Springs, GA

Sandy Springs Racquet Center is another great option for pickleball lovers, featuring 8 fully equipped, lighted pickleball courts. The center is ideal for lessons, weekly clinics, drop-in play, or mixers. It is open daily, and a one-time fee is required to reserve a court.

DeKalb Tennis and Pickleball Center

1400 McConnell Dr, Decatur, GA 30033

Located in North Druid Hills, DeKalb Tennis and Pickleball Center features 10 outdoor dedicated pickleball courts. The center offers free play, private and group lessons, an equipment shop, and more. It is open daily, and the cost is $5 per hour for each person playing on a reserved court.

Pickle and Social

Pickle and Social Gwinnett may be located in Buford but it is well worth the drive for those seeking a social pickleball experience! This vibrant venue features top-notch indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, along with craft food, signature drinks, live entertainment, and more. The price for play varies depending on non-peak and peak days and times.

 

Public Pickleball Courts 

There are several public pickleball courts around Atlanta that are free to use and open to everyone. These courts are popular among community members, many of whom use Playtimes Scheduler, a free tool specifically for organizing pickleball games. Southside Park offers 6 outdoor courts that are free to use. You can reserve a court through iParcs for a small fee ($3 – $5 per hour). Without a reservation, courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Arrow Creek Park

Arrow Creek Park offers 3 outdoor courts that are free to use.

Peachtree Hills Park

Peachtree Hills Park offers 8 asphalt courts, including 6 outdoor and 2 indoor. The courts are free to use, and reservations are available. The park also offers restrooms and water fountains.

Lines/Nets: The courts have permanent lines and portable nets.

Lang Carson Recreation Center

Lang Carson Recreational Center offers 2 outdoor courts that are free to use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Central Park Tennis Courts

Central Park offers 8 courts total: 4 outdoor courts & 4 indoor courts. Courts are free to use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Lines/Nets: You will have to create lines and bring a pickleball net.

Grant Park Courts

Grant Park offers 8 courts total: 6 outdoor courts & 2 indoor courts. Courts are free to use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Lines/Nets: You will have to bring a pickleball net.

Bessie Branham Recreation Center

Bessie Branham Recreation Center offers 3 indoor wood courts that are free to use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Lines/Nets: The courts have taped lines but you will need to bring a pickleball net.

Lake Claire Park

Lake Claire Park offers 3 outdoor hard courts. The courts are free to use and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

Willis Park in Avondale Estates offers 4 outdoor hard courts with pickleball nets on wheels. The courts are free to play and can be reserved
