I don’t know about you, but I was so excited when Dolce Italian opened its doors in September of last year. I had already fallen in love with Corso Coffee- which is owned by LDV Hospitality, the group behind Dolce as well- and am a sucker for some good Italian eats. The ambiance is chic, the food is delicious and the bar is even better. And with the warmer weather coming our way, I have a feeling Dolce’s beautiful patio will soon be crowded with people.
But the best news of all? Dolce is bringing back brunch! The menu features some Italian favorites such as their specialty pizzas and pasta dishes. But it also satisfies the brunch in all of us with items such as chicken and waffles, eggs and ricotta pancakes! And as to be expected of this Buckhead gem, the brunch cocktails are awesome.
This past weekend I tried out Dolce’s brunch menu and was not disappointed. I started the meal off with a mimosa and then spent way too much time looking at the menu trying to figure out what to order. The final verdict was the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and my boyfriend went with the chicken and waffles. Everything was incredible. The eggs (and waffles!) were fluffy, the salmon wasn’t too fishy, the fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the syrup that came on top of the waffles was so good- some sort of maple syrup with chili flakes. Oh and I can’t forget the side of polenta! Yummm.
Needless to say, brunch at Dolce was amazing. Plus, The Market, a new farmers market at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, is every Sunday from 10-2 pm, giving you a fun post-brunch activity!
Oh and if you’re curious, here is the full brunch menu. Enjoy!
