As we move further and further away from the new year, it can be easy to let our resolutions slide. To help me (and my awesome followers) stay on track, I teamed up with Pink Barre, Murphy’s and 310 Rosemont to plan a fun day of fitness, food and shopping!
Saturday morning started with an unexpected but fun surprise- snow! Luckily, the roads weren’t too icy and we were all able to show up for our 10 a.m. Pink Barre class.
This was my first ever barre class and it’s safe to say I was pretty nervous. I stay pretty active with walks and hikes, but I’ve never been a huge gym-goer. (Something I’m hoping to change this year!) But Pink Barre was a happy surprise. The class was a lot of fun and our instructor did an awesome job of explaining each move- even the newbies were keeping up! I woke up so sore the next day, but I can’t wait to attend another class.
After getting our butts kicked at barre, we all headed across the street to Murphy’s, which is in my opinion one of Atlanta’s best brunch spots! Brunch is only served on Saturdays and Sundays, but dinner at Murphy’s (served every night) is just as delicious.
As soon as we sat down, our server brought over fresh-baked muffins and biscuits with homemade jams. (I could’ve eaten the whole basket!) I’ve had every single benedict on their menu, and while I’m a sucker for the “Eggs T. Murphy”- their classic eggs benedict- they’re all amazing.
Next, we walked down the street to 310 Rosemont- a trendy clothing boutique in Virginia Highlands. We sipped on mimosas while looking through beautiful clothing, candles and jewelry. 310 Rosemont has clothing for both men and women and carries brands from Free People to Barbour.
A special thank you to Pink Barre, Murphy’s and 310 Rosemont for coordinating Barre to Brunch with me. And an even BIGGER thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a success! I can’t wait for the next one.
