The start of a new year is always a time of reflection. What did I accomplish last year? What will this year bring? And, of course, what will my New Year’s resolutions be this year?
Out of the top six New Year’s resolutions of 2016, two revolve around living a healthier lifestyle. Healthy lifestyles can mean anything from eating better to being more active to even just having a more positive outlook. And after these past few months of indulging, it’s no surprise that people look at the new year as a “fresh start” and choose to make healthier choices.
And I’m no different! Today I am starting a 3-day juice cleanse from one of my favorite Atlanta juice bars, Kale Me Crazy. This will be my first-ever juice cleanse, so I am excited to see the results. A detox is exactly what my body (and mind) needs right now!
People decide to do juice cleanses for many reasons, but I believe the best reason to cleanse is to jump start a healthier lifestyle. And before beginning a cleanse, it’s important to know best practices.
