One of my favorite Atlanta events is this Saturday and I CAN’T WAIT!
The Decatur Wine Festival began in 2001 and has grown to be one of the largest outdoor wine festivals in Atlanta.
The festival features almost 500 different wines, delicious food from local restaurants, local art and music– and more!
Last year, the festival included a huge tower of inflatable wine bottles (below) and this year is shaping up to have the coolest (and most interactive) art yet! You’ll see what I mean if you attend!
Last year, the crowd even transformed into a spontaneous dance party with music by DJ Troy Cono– and I have a feeling the tradition will continue.
I spoke with Sarah Seaton-Todd of the Decatur Arts Alliance (the organization that puts on the festival) and she said, “The Decatur Wine Festival celebrates all the best that Decatur has to offer, so if you want to join a true Decatur tradition, this is your opportunity!”
So, if you want to buy tickets you’re in luck! You can still purchase them here.
*And don’t forget to check out ATL Bucket List on Facebook to learn how you could win a free pair of tickets to the event!
