Buckhead Atlanta just keeps getting better and better.
This evening, the long-awaited Dolce Italian opens up to the public. This new restaurant is visually unique, having a vintage 1960’s “romantic” feel to it. Like it’s LDV Hospitality sister spot, Corso Coffee, the second you step foot inside Dolce, you feel like you’ve been transported to a classic Italian venue.
And while the restaurant doesn’t open until 5 p.m. today, I had a chance to get a sneak peek Wednesday night and I have to say, Dolce exceeds expectations. Every detail from the ceiling panels to the floor tiles is perfection. Not to mention the 50-seat wrap-around outdoor terrace that overlooks Buckhead Atlanta– I’m a sucker for a great outdoor patio.
But the décor isn’t the only exceptional part of Dolce; the food is just as memorable (possibly even more memorable). From the charcuterie plate to the Neapolitan-style pizza to the handcrafted pasta, meatballs and more, Dolce’s kitchen knows how to make stellar Italian cuisine.
Dolce Italian opened it’s first location in Miami in 2012. In early 2015, it opened it’s second location in Chicago. And today the third Dolce opens opens up in Buckhead Atlanta. Dolce’s Atlanta location plans to be open for dinner nightly and will begin to serve lunch in the near future.
And keep a look out for LDV Hospitality’s third Buckhead restaurant concept, American Cut, set to open in 2016.
